2007 and still reading

Strangely enough it seems it's not web pages nor games that keep people away from books: it's podcasts. I've heard from many people recently that listening to podcasts is more convenient than reading - espacially in crowded commuter trains. Nah, I'm still reading.

Z.Z. Packer: Drinking Coffee Elsewhere. A collection of short stories, some of them really memorable. Kids in a summer camp, a foreigner stranded in Japan, a teenager's disappointment with his slacker father at Louis Farrakhan's Million Man March.

Yann Martel: Life of Pi, The Helsinki Roccamations. Needless to say, Martel can write both novels and short stories. Looking forward to his next book.
